About the Participant
Chari Glogovac-
Smith
Chari Glogovac-Smith is a composer, instrumentalist, and mixed media artist. Using an evolving mixture of techniques, Chari is dynamically exploring and illustrating the human experience and the counterpoints between society and technology, making use of sound, video, and other digital media as mediums.
Their work is inspired by research into the theories and practices of afro-futurism, deep listening, revolutionary art, machine learning and healing. Chari resides in Seattle, WA, and is pursuing a P.h.D in Digital Arts and Experimental Media from the University of Washington.
