About the Participant

Adou

Adou is a curator and writer living in London. Currently they are employed as assistant curator at the South London Gallery (SLG) where they have worked on exhibitions and live programmes including: Pope.L Hospital (2023), Motunrayo Akinola, Knees Kiss Ground (2024), Firelei Baez, Sueño de la Madrugada (2024) and Christina Kimeze’s first solo show which will open in January 2025. Previously, they had worked in the Barbican Immersive team delivering touring immersive experiences, and collaborated on projects with House of African Art, Adidas x Creative Debuts and ArtxLagos. They were most recently published in the Black Blossoms online Journal.
