About the Participant

Ozichi Okorom

Ozichi Okorom is a NYC-based writer, researcher, curator, and multimedia artist. Her work engages black visual culture, performance, and literature to explore how the technological and the digital are shaped by the black femme. In her creative and theoretical practice, she uses collage and assemblage as a means of experimenting with aesthetics and theory.  

Ozichi earned her BA in African American Studies from Princeton University and a Masters in African and African Diasporic Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She has previously worked as a museum education fellow at the Blanton Museum of Art.
